Before you land

The Airport

Depending on your passport, an e-visa may be required. Arrange it online before you travel. Bali’s airport is large and busy.

Once through, a quiet car is waiting if you would like it. We are delighted to arrange a personal pick-up from the airport on request, so that the first thing you meet in Bali is a familiar face.

I · The journey

From the airport to the estate

You will land at Ngurah Rai International Airport. The estate lies in Umalas, between Seminyak and Canggu, on Jalan Bumbak Dauh.

Journey times vary with traffic. Share your flight and we will be waiting beyond arrivals, with cold water and a quiet car.

II · Coming home

What to expect on arrival

The gate opens onto the garden. A cool towel, something to drink, and a slow walk through the estate.

Your rooms are ready, your toiletries chosen. Tell us about dietary wishes and little ones before you travel.

III · Island rhythms

Choosing your season

April to October is generally drier; November to March brings rain and the deepest green. Bali is warm all year.

School holidays and the festive season fill early. If your dates are fixed, plan ahead.

IV · Travel lightly

What to pack

Linen and cotton, swimwear, sandals, sun protection and a light rain layer.

A sarong and covered shoulders for temple visits. Check visa and entry requirements through official sources before you fly.
